Get your utility bill faster and easier with Electronic Billing (E-bill). All customers have the option of receiving a bill notification by e-mail instead of receiving their bill by mail in paper form. When you sign up for e-bill, you will receive a notice every month when you can view your bill online. You will no longer receive a bill by mail in paper form. You can discontinue the E-bill service at any time by contacting us. Please include your full account number and current phone number when enrolling. You will receive an email reply confirming you are enrolled in the service.
You can also print the bill and make a payment with it.
Bills are due and payable when received. The last day
to pay the bill without penalty is the due date printed on it. The following
day, a 2.5% late penalty is charged to the account. Ten days later, delinquency
action can begin, including service interruption. If a residential customer is unable to pay a bill by the due date, the person listed on the account may visit the office to request an arrangement for payment of the bill at a later date. Photo identification is required and if an arrangement is authorized by a City repre- sentative, all past due payments must, as a general rule, be completed before the next bill due date. If the account holder is unable to visit the office, he or she may authorize someone else to handle this matter on the account. Time extensions are not handled by phone; you must visit the office.
