ABOUT US
Tax Collection, a division of the Finance Department, collects
personal and real estate property taxes from City residents. The office
also collects privilege license fees, abatement fees, CDBG payments, street
assessments, animal citations, and parking rentals. In addition, it serves
as the collector 
of health insurance payments from City employees on leave
and COBRA payments from former employees.
The Tax Collection office is located on the 1st floor of the Dunn Building
at 248 Craven Street, New Bern, North Carolina. Office hours are Monday
through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
