Services Commander, Kirsten Juba-White

Kirsten Juba White joined the Police Department from the New Bern ’s Finance Department where she worked for more than 6 years processing Accounts Payable.

Kirsten was born in Lancaster County, PA.  Her family also lived in Hagerstown, MD.  Her college degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from Millersville University in Millersville, PA, along with her work in the city’s accounting division fostered a desire to work with grants. 

She has taken grant-writing and management classes during the last few years.  Also, she is involved with her church doing grant work in for their prison outreach programs. 

Kirsten moved to New Bern in August of 2000 with her husband, Doug, a government contractor who works on spy-planes with the Marines.  Before moving to New Bern, she lived near Palm Springs, CA, where she worked at a large Golf and Conference Resort. 

Kirsten is also involved with the Juniors of New Bern and their various activities throughout the community.  Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys playing golf, doing anything outdoors, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
