Services Commander, Kirsten Juba White
Kirsten Juba White joined the Police Department in September 2007 after serving over six years in the City's Finance Department. She started with the agency as the Grants and Volunteer Coordinator. In December 2008, Kirsten became Acting Services Commander and was promoted permanently in January 2010.
Kirsten earned two bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from Millersville University in Millersville, PA. She has taken grant writing and management courses, along with budgeting for municipalities and police agency seminars. Kirsten completed the IACP Leadership in Police Organizations course in 2009.
Kirsten was born in Lancaster County, PA, and has also lived in Hagerstown, MD. Before moving to New Bern in 2000, Kirsten lived near Palm Springs, CA, where she worked at a large Golf and Conference Resort.
Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys playing golf, going to the beach, doing anything outdoors, reading and spending time with family and friends.
