The New Bern Parks and Recreation Department will be having our Annual SPORTS CAMP  2 for youth ages 6 to 12 years old.  The camp will be held August 9th thru 20th and will consist of an introduction of the skills, methods and rules of different sports.  Bowling, Golf, Swimming, canoeing and other fun activities will be included. This camp is for children ages 7-14 that have never played golf before.  Each camper will enjoy a week at Quaker Neck Country Club where they will learn the basics of golf, get a starter set of golf clubs, and enjoy time amoung friends with the new found common bond of golf.  Space is limited to 20 participants per session.
